Understanding Pace
Pace is measured in minutes per kilometer (or mile). A 5:00/km pace means you cover one kilometer every 5 minutes, which equals a speed of 12 km/h.
Race Strategy
For best results, aim for even or negative splits (running the second half slightly faster). Starting too fast often leads to slowing down significantly later.
Improvement
